The processes of modernization caused by the scientific and technical development are more and more frequently and extensively a socially relevant matter and, unavoidably, a greatly conflictual social matter. By now it is clear to the analysts that the term poor in social impact of technological innovation refers to other. However the communities are little aware of the importance and extent of the field delimited by the distance between scientific modernization and social and cultural modernization. The scientific popularization is one of the more effective ways to cross this field, but it is also a largely wasted resource at the moment, given the models it generally uses to reach its objectives. Understanding the harmonization of the forms of modernization as a collective problem could contribute to use the development as a resource, with more efficacy and in shorter time, and with a lesser level of social conflict.
