Indici di posizione socioeconomica a livello aggregato da utilizzare su scala regionale e locale. L’esperienza di Roma - In this paper we illustrate various indicators we used to analyse socioeconomic disparities in Rome. We evaluated their association with mortality and their association with individual educational level and a composite index built at a national level. The correlation between indicators (Spearman’s) varies between 0.58 to 0.76. All indicators show a strong association between low socioeconomic position and mortality. The association is stronger for young compared to elderly people. The index built on national data allows to compare different areas, but seems to have a lower association with education compared to local indicators. Keywords: Socioeconomic position, indicators, mortality, epidemiology, Rome, social conditions. Parole chiave: Posizione socioeconomica, indicatori, mortalità, epidemiologia, Roma, condizioni sociali.
