"Expo ’98", ten years after: Analysis of the Lisbon East Zone transformation - The 1998 World Expo operation was the most important urban intervention carried-out in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area during last ten years. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the results of this complex operation, moving from an analysis of the official area planning documents; to comparing them with the stated objectives of the stakeholders involved in the management of the process and assessing the eventual differences between them and the reality.
