From the beginning of times, by war communities preserved or strengthened them against other communities. Nuclear warfare has changed all this. For 50 years, writes the author, cold war has been staged on this assumption. What happened thereafter? Knowledge circulated, technologies became of widespread use, uranium changed hands. More and more countries became able to produce atomic bombs. Possibly even terrorist groups could, and their fanaticism won’t restrict them to use nuclear bombs. Globalization helped all this and now the situation asks for different answers. Nuclear disarmament could not be restricted to a pair of major powers or even to Governments. Intelligence must be gathered, partnerships must be build, solution must be found with all the countries and people.

Keywords: Home-land, homeland earth, cold war, globalization, global war, nuclear disarmament.
