Hence, studying and analyzing to spatial and urban observatories phenomenon is the main objective in this paper. So, the incidence on planning process is assessed for each observatory. In this way, different incidence levels have been defined, which are used for classifying each observatory. Finally, from the results obtained, a discussion is open about the factors behind success in the design of observatory, which has a high incidence level in planning process.
