Research on dwelling in recent years has highlighted a variety of different forms of living, that consider diversity (social as well as territorial) as a value. In contrast to this variety, the supply of the housing market is still mostly predictable and rigid. How does the urban and architectural design responds? Is the project the cause of the distance between the plurality of forms and the inelasticity of supply? How does the project to meet the dwelling needs of today? Some projects carried out in France in recent years, help to discuss about project’s ability to interpret and rewrite practices.
