The Milton Erickson Foundation has been promoting Intensive Training Program in Ericksonian Approaches to Brief Hypnotic Psychotherapy for 23 years, in Phoenix, Arizona. The experiential learning is an hallmark of Erickson’s teaching model. The author focuses on Erickson’s early years in Phoenix, wondering how much Arizona’s nature and Native American culture and arts affected the outcome of his approach on hypnosis and psychotherapy.
