The Authors analyze labour flexibility in two different perspectives: through the tools of law and organizational theory. They aim at violating the taboo that seems to take for granted the connection between Fordism and regular employment and Post-Fordism and non standard forms of work. After sketching the theoretical framework, the Authors take into consideration the Fiat case - related to the new forms of organization implemented in the plant of Pomigliano d’Arco - highlighting the effects of organizational revolutions on labour issues.
