In the article the author focuses on an analytical interpretation of the Transition movement, placing it in the theoretical framework of the initiatives of the food movement, according to local dynamics. The author recognizes transition initiatives as forms of consciousness of place, as a community exercise where people realize a pact with their territory and environment. These Initiatives create a bridge between consumption and production in a new connection between city and country, based on new strategies of alliance to read co-production relations in which designing new projects of open spaces.
