Based on the considerablecollection of documents of Franzinelli and Giacone, the author proposes a reflectionon this first experience of an organic centre-left government, concentrating on thecomplex dynamics that led to the birth and collapse of the first Moro governmentand the difficult recomposition of a parliamentary majority.
