The overlapping between the new wave of international migration towards Italy and the sudden incoming of digital AV recording deeply affected the Italian imagination concerning otherness and identity. A new dimension of in-betweeness has been explored in order to reproduce and map a composed perspective that includes and mixes elements and strategies of representation (mainly professional) with elements of self-representation (mainly non professional).
