The serious state of distress and suffering that many psychologists and the whole country are living because of the social and economic crisis, implies a rethinking of the training that should ensure the achievement of an easily expendable degree in the labour market, and which prepares specifically to the profession of psychologist. It is appropriate to review the implementation of the post-graduate training, which cannot engage the young graduate for over six months, and the reduction of the State certification exam in only two tests, a theoretical and a practical one, in order to make it more consistent with the professional field.

Keywords: Education in psychology, post-graduate training, State certification exam for psychologists, professional identity
