This work focuses on the issue of solidarity proposed by Ronald Dworkin in Justice for Hedgehogs, the last work published by the American philosopher (2011). It is a matter that is developed in three areas of interrelated research: moral, ethical and political. In the ethical and moral spheres are the principles of personal dignity on which each act of solidarity is founded. Finally, in the political sphere, the highest subjective expression of solidarity emerges, which turns out to be a democratic criterion for political control, becoming a synthesis of ethics and morals.
