The Author analyses the relationship between small farming and climate change through three levels of investigation (international, European and national), considering those subjects who, although different, are united by the disadvantaged situation in which they practice agricultural activity and their intrinsic weakness in the face of climate change. The analysis is carried out in the twofold perspective of identifying which poli-cies are aimed at favouring the adaptation of small agriculture to the effects of climate change, and the contribution that small agriculture itself can provide to the fight against climate change.
Keywords: Small farming, climate change, resilience, adaptation.
