A contribution by Giuseppe Petralia on the «seigneury» in Norman-Swabian Sicily has evidenced the delay of the studies on the matter thus fostering the review of previous surveys basing them on the reanalysis of Greek and Latin privileges in the 12th century. In view of such indications, the author aims at presenting new data on the «seigneury» in Sicily through the examination of the Saint Peter of Golisano's Church parchments whose sacred building, along with large land properties, were given to the Cathedral of Cefalù by Adelicia Avenell Maccabeo in 1140.
