The activation in Romano di Lombardia of participatory practices is described by focusing on the ability to rethink the forms and the ways cultural spaces and activities take place within the city. Events and initiatives, born from active citizenship and mostly involving young people, have triggered opportunities to build public space through the regeneration of previously abandoned places or the enhancement of existing spaces.
