"Aseismic Homes" by Giuseppe Torres are a construction system for monolithic buildings with a circular, modular plan, destined for the complete and original reconstruction of the City of Messina after the earthquake of 1908. This project is a unique testimony of urban reconstruction attitude, which attempts to bring together technological innovation with formal tradition, giving rise to new and original forms of the city.
