The contribution analyzes the building affairs of someMilanese cinemas, in particular those realized orattributed to the architect Alessandro Rimini, since thebeginning of the twentieth century until the 1950s.The goal is to shine a light over the autorship questionthat - even in the case of an established professional,well-accredited by bibliography - oftentimes results quitedifficult to settle. The project for a cinema, as a matter offact, is a product of different disciplinary skills that forceus to increase the number of actors involved, thereforeinviting us to reconsider some interpretative keys in theanalysis of twentieth century architecture.
