A few years after the entry into force of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the EU has enacted another fundamental legislation inspired by data protection. It is, as is known, the Regulation on digital services (Digital Service Act or DSA) mainly aimed at creating a safer digital space. All of this also concerns the travel and tourism industry, one of the most affected by digital development and among the first to use digital marketing tech-niques to involve users: hence, the need to identify, on the one hand, the subjective and objective scope of operation of the Digital Service Act, with particular reference to the tourism sector; and, on the other hand, the implications and systematic links between the Digital Service Act and the GDPR.
