The data of the IV monitor stimulate the reflection of those who work in the field of Health Psychology and the programming and organization of health services and policies, in-viting reflection on the distance between the ideal dimension of this field of work and what the professionals active in the field declare. In order to aim at an effective relaunch of this discipli-nary field, it is urgent to revisit in a salutogenic perspective the set and setting of the profes-sional, educational and organizational contexts in which the Health Psychologist works, is trained, kept up-to-date and discusses with other professionals in the field to respond to the complex needs emerging in the contemporary society.

Keywords: health psychology, health promotion, organization of services, salutogenesis.
