The National Law on Migration Policy No. 25,871, accepted for the first time the standards of International Human Rights Law, recognized migrants as sub-jects of rights, established specific directives regarding migrants’ access to rights, included guidelines for administrative procedures regarding admission, stay and expulsion of foreigners and incorporated the judicial review of the latter acts.
