This paper explores the uses of podcasts created by students in higher education, with a particular focus on a Medieval Archaeology course at the University of Padua. The article highlights how podcasts, used as a creative project managed by students, can significantly enrich active learning and promote fundamental skills in students including research, creative writing, scientific communication, and teamwork. The authors also analyze the feedback collected from students, who have found podcasting to be a stimulating and innovative teaching method capable of enhancing their communication, research, and digital skills.
