This paper presents the results of an exploratory study conducted on a group of support teachers in training with the aim of profiling teachers with an Instrumental Function as significant system figures in the practices of building the Life Project. A quantitative-qualitative questionnaire explored trainee teachers' perceptions and expectations regarding the system figures responsible for inclusion within schools, with particular reference to their role in developing PCTO programs.
The data collected provides a description of competent and expert teachers, capable of supporting colleagues and the professional community in understanding, planning, and implementing educational experiences oriented towards the Life Project.
The findings confirm that promoting ever-increasing quality in programs is the responsibility of all stakeholders in the school community, with particular attention to system figures. The research raises new questions that can be the subject of subsequent research that will contribute to giving greater definition to the profile explored.
