In the context of the research carried out at the National Biodiversity Future Centre (NBFC), the contribution proposes an analysis of the public policies for urban green spaces in Italy with the aim of taking stock of the planning and design of urban green spaces more than ten years after the approval of law 10/2013. In particular, the essay gives a general view of the national territory with a focus on Northern Italy.
