QUADERNI DI GESTALT

Gestalt Therapy Journal - Rivista semestrale di Psicoterapia della Gestalt

2 issues per year, ISSNe 2035-6994

The Gestalt Therapy Journal (Quaderni di Gestalt) has been the Italian journal of Gestalt psychotherapy since 1985. It has given voice to the constant dialogue that the Gestalt Institute HCC Italy has initiated with the Italian and international psychotherapy communities as well as contributing to the evolution of the original theoretical and clinical models, contributions which have since been translated abroad. The Journal is recognized by the Italian Society of Gestalt Psychotherapy (SIPG), is a member of the Italian Federation of Psychotherapy Associations (FIAP) and maintains scientific exchanges with other Italian and foreign psychotherapy journals. Since 2024, it has been published in Open Access. Since its inception, the Journal has been characterised by the spirit of a teaching/learning community, opening itself to multidisciplinary discussion on the role of the psychotherapist in treating new forms of relational suffering. Drawing on aesthetic values as the ethics of caring relationships and creative adjustment processes as the principle of health, the Gestalt Therapy Journal aims to keep science close to life and research close to clinical problems. Its intended audience is psychotherapists and professionals in helping relationships.
