Regarding statistical data dissemination as a product or a service for which it is possible to establish marketing policies (the five Ps: product, price, promotion, issue place, competitive position), it is outlined the recent evolution and the possible scenarios of an European approach. Taking into consideration the peculiarity of the asset statistical information, solutions based on a large and free circulation are to be preferred to contractual schemes that are based upon propriety rights.
