From Disease-Struggle to Health-Promotion. An Integrated and Conscious Utilization of Non Conventional Medicine for the Cronically-Ill - This article proposes a critical analysis on the role of non conventional medicine in cronically-ill patients. Many clininal trials suggests the efficacy of non conventional medicine in improving the quality of life of these patients. In this context, non conventional medicine might increase the personalization and humanization of health care. An approach focused on the elicitation of the internal forces of the patient will significantly increase the grasp of the patient on the meaning and the sense of his/her illness.
