Psychosocial intervention, community psychology and health psychology - The aim of this article is to explore the areas at the boundaries of community and health psychology, underlining the importance of a critical approach in the analysis of common issues of the two disciplines. In particular, the usefulness of the methodology of participatory action research in realising the goals of a community health psychology is emphasized. Key words: community health psychology, critical health psychology, participatory action research.
