A possible extension within the couple dynamics - This article refers to the observation of the consumer trend, in the use of "thing", in the present society. Things that come into a different relation with people, in a reversal of the roles and of the relative relation settling between things and people. Things that lose their primary meaning and representativeness, and turn to numbers, substantially. Everyone’s self, invaded by the things through the "instinct to purchase", acquires confusion and disorientation. This helps to make the couple systems dull. They become "muddled systems", in the redundance of things as part of the oneself of the two partner of the couple. They lose, in fact, the few motivational and greatly significant components, which are necessary to them to stand, instead, in a complex society, as the present one is. Key Words: Thing; Instinct to Purchase; Muddled System.
