For full European citizenship and a European identity - Languages are not codes of expression pure and simple, they are also the product of the history and culture of the peoples that speak them. He who speaks of multilingualism is also saying multi-cultural and in political terms, in the final analysis, multi-lateralism. For Europe, the presence of a multitude of languages on its territory is a mark of great cultural wealth and is an integral part of its identity.
