Psicosomatica e psicoanalisi - The author proposes a reflection concerning the theory of conversion and the anxiety neurosis in Freud’s work. Then he outlines the developments of the Freudian concepts in the light of recent findings in psychoanalysis and neurosciences through the twentieth-century most important authors. About treating the "psychosomatic" patients he introduces his own theory of "lacunarity" and the "three group interaction". He stresses that the health operators know "the mind’s primitive states".

Keywords: Anxiety neurosis; lacunarity; group; three group interaction; mind’s primitive states.
