The authors, using the administrative source of Labour Information System, examine the characteristics and consistency of migration flows from Southern Italy to the Veneto region (North-est) over the past decade. The paper aims at highlight the role played by immigrants from Southern Italy in the labour market of Veneto in relation to other supply components.
