This paper aims to investigate the dynamics of Farmer Market (FM), that is an accurate model for the sale of products in a market run by farmers. It describes the structural elements and the critical and virtuous aspects of this model of sale, wich commonly refers to the genre of "short chain". The paper, wich considers legal and economic aspects, is articulated as follows: historical introduction to the problem, selective review of the literature on consumer behavior, legal regulation of FM, description of the experience of the first FM opened in the Region Marche, in Fermo,analysis of the management.
