In this case study the authors illustrate a therapeutic project based on the individualization and the use of bonds and the family’s personal resources. Starting from the symptoms described by the designated patient, the family was helped to establish their ability to use their union to develop the family evolution. As, is often the case, it is an example of the relationships between therapists, developed through the analysis of their own ties, resources and the integration of their own differences. This work highlights the co-evolution of the family and therapeutic system, made possible thanks to overcoming the myth of unity.

Keywords: Bond/ties, resource, myth of unity, co-therapy relationship, isomorphism.
