The footstep breath: walking like biographique metaphor. The "metaphor of the walking" in this context is related to an adult path, conscious and significant, that deal with the same essential themes in an adult training: reflexivity, experience, self-study, awareness, responsibility, freedom in choice. But the "walking" express also its metaphorical power, through the physical element and the involvement of the body: to learn through experience. To give voice to women’s walks for the author is an opportunity to remember an historical gap in all the social science, in which one of the two voices is failed, but also to underline that adult training must distance himself from generalization. The attention to the gender is a point of departure: it is an opportunity to elaborate a most extensive view, in which the subject is in the center, preserving the gender’s peculiarity. In the training context, this opportunity require to chose narratives and autobiographical methodology. The target is to legitimize duality to reach the uniqueness; to legitimize the difference to emphasize the individuality.
