FrancoAngeli is member of Publishers International Linking Association, Inc (PILA), a not-for-profit association which run the CrossRef service enabling links to and from online scholarly content.

The authors after achieving a mapping, in Piedmont, Umbria and Sicily, of the territorial certifications issued by the association members to Res Tipica, they have made a comparative analysis of their statutory purposes. The analysis allowed to identify three target areas, which are useful to understand the orientation of the local administrators with respect to territorial resources to be exploited, showing how the territorial certifications may help to bring innovative paths of local tourist development
