The volume collects three recent essays by David Harvey, two of which are specifically dedicated to the recovery and re-enactment of the concept of right to the city, drawn by Henri Lefebvre at the end of the ’60s. The essays are united by two convictions declared in a outspoken way. The first is the logical of the processes of urbanization, considered by Harvey the main cause of recent global financial crisis. The second conviction invites us to activate the concrete claims on urban space, which prove to be able to oppose the capitalist logic and able to operate the profound transformations in everyday life.

Keywords: Marxist Urban Theories, Right to the City, Urbanization, Everyday Life, Second Circuit of Capital, Real Estate.
