Diary of life in fascist internment is the diary of Nino Contini, a Jewish lawyerfrom Ferrara, from 1940 to 8 September 1943, and then in Naples, just freed by theAllied military. The diary offers a unique picture of daily life in internment camps,to which the fascist regime sent 13.000 persons. The diary, written during the yearsof internment, is distinctively different from the published memoriesor oralinterviews of later years.
