The text, following Freud and Lacan as they suggest about the relationship between writing and unconscious, between the way the unconscious functioning and how to function the language, tries to explain why the deep relationship between literature and psychoanalysis. The literature is permanently interwinded with the work of the analyst, is intrinsic to the experience itself: clinical stories that become literature, the interpretation as effect of an intertextual network, the metaphorical knotting between ghosts and novels highlight this crosslinking. Style as a way to work on the meaning of the signifier, collecting missing objects, is also the style of the unconscious and it is the style followed by the analyst in order to support the journey that is the analysis.

Keywords: Clinic and literature, style and unconscious, Analyst´s style, ghost crossing.
