This article focuses on the way the Red Brigades interacted with the 1977 movements. The main purpose is to analyze the influence of the Brigadist strategy on the radicalization of the action repertoires used by the protest movements. It takes into consideration the documents written by the Red Brigades and addressed to the protagonists of that season of struggles. The article analyses the Brigadist perception of the 1977 social unrest and how the exhortation to the armed struggle, launched by the terrorist group, was received by protest movements.
