The article is the transcription of a lesson held by Anna Laura Dillon, pediatric neuropsychiatrist, in November 2014 in the School of Specialization in Psychotherapy of Il Ruolo Terapeutico. In the lesson she presents the evolution of her training story as a psychotherapist with children. She especially reflects on the changes which came about during and after her encounter with Ruolo Terapeutico. In her article she also presents some clinical cases through which she clearly underlines how the supporting principles of Ruolo Terapeutico have become part of her clinical work, changing it in its basic assumptions
