The "spigolature" (gleanings) column collects peculiarities on accounting history by short essays: The present issue introduces two "gleanings". The first one is about the three centuries between Leonardo Fibonacci’s work (1202) and Luca Pacioli’s ones (1494). These three centuries are little known to accounting historians since the modern accountancy is made to coincide with the publication of Pacioli’s "Summa". The second one concerns a cataloging error in Cerboni’s bibliography (1889).
