This essay analyzes FCA-CNH’s model essential traits, through reference to its organizational, contractual and tradeunion’s peculiarities. However, first we bring into focus the various steps that brought to the present labour and working relationships in the FCA-CNH group. From this reconstruction it becomes clear how this model is in fact a work in progress. Furthermore, we highlight some frequent terminological mistakes in the debate developed on this model. Lastly, we can see how the direction in which the FCA-CNH group is moving, even if there are some important peculiarities regarding labour relations, it’s actually the same as the one in which all the companies are moving. In fact, all the new organizational and regulative models lead, in the working relationship, to the expansion of the employee’s debt position.
