This section shows a brief selection of articles from the international literature of the last six months regarding hypnosis in scientific and clinical contexts. This particular issue contains works about the use of hypnosis in therapeutic contexts: the validity and efficacy of the hypnosis is discussed in conjunction as well as in comparison with other approaches, such as psychedelics, mindfulness and guided imagery. Studies about the manageability of hypnosis in different contexts and aimed at different targets (child, adults who suffer from burn injuries, post-traumatic disorder simple and complex) are discussed. The historical link between hypnosis and psychoanalysis is shown.
