Promoting health and workplace safety is an ambitious yet crucial goal for training and social development institutions such as universities. Their aim is to "culturally drive" organizations towards models that enhance the role of knowledge and production systems inspired by widespread responsibility, staff development and on the minimization of physical, psychological and social risks at work. The communicative dimension (training, dialogue, listening and interaction) be-comes the main dynamics that can directly influence the development of risks pre-vention at work, an effective safety culture and the construction of best practices. This role, for Universities, is part of the so-called "Third Mission", which grants the university system a role of dynamic interlocutor with companies and the local community. The goal is to pursue a model of social development based on innovation and social embedded education that acknowledges the due value to people and organizations so to build and foster a better quality of life and improve the collective well-being.
