This paper is a comparative study of the pictorial materials decorating the main Royal Sites situated in the areas of Naples and Caserta. The iconography analysed has celebratory and symbolic value, with the task of exalting royal power and court magnificence through a rich repertoire of images characterised by a variety of themes and formal solutions.
