Food systems are able, at the same time, to transform territories and to adapt to them and to their urban configuration. Reading these interdependencies is crucial in terms of space and ground occupation, especially in the light of food supply chains global scale. Veneto region can be a paradigmatic case for other similar European diffusely inhabited territories, where spaces of production, distribution and consumption are in physical proximity amongst them.
