This section collects abstracts from the most recent international literature regarding hypnosis in main domains. In this number the main focuses are: (1) the relationship between the hypnotic state and trauma and dissociation related factors, both in the treatment of children and the adult patients; (2) the use of new, reliable measures of hypnotic susceptibility, both in traditional ways and using personal devices; (3) the neurobehavioral processes and neurobiological mechanisms underpinning hypnosis. This issues overall conveys important cues toward the effectiveness and authenticity of hypnosis-related phenomena.
