About the Red Book of Jung. Essay is mainly focused on the question of the enormous relevance and pervasivity of the expansive process of the Imaginary and its strong anthropogenetic influence on our cultural context; its possible effects on the training of those psychotherapists belonging to the psychoanalitic tradition and, more generally, on the transfer process of this specific knowledge. Hence, many and various thoughts, conjectures, questions and critical observations on the impact that the recent publication of R.B. (Red Book) may have on its primary reference community, i.e. the Jungian one, although the whole field of psycotherapy is held in consideration. The last parts are devoted to the discussion of a few points touched in a dialogue between S. Shamdasani, editor of the R.B., and J. Hillman, together with some general questions inherent the reading of Jung's work and also the clinical praxis of the Jungian school.
Keywords: Imaginary, Psychotherapeutic training, Hermeneutics, Archetypes, Metapsychology.
