Trasformations of life – Trasformations of death

The author of this article develops a thought relating to the dimen-sion of intrapsychic and relational movements that occur in a psycho-analytic path when the presence of situations emerges in which suffer-ing is based on traumatic experiences relating to important deficiencies in the primary area of experience. He tells us about a clinical case that presents a profound state of anguish, emotional dependence and sub-stance dependence that undermine his capacity for social autonomy. Severe episodes of dissociation occur, with risks of compromising sta-bility and sense of security, which have required listening and contain-ing states of psychological collapse. An experience in which psychic transformations occur in the subjects (analyst and patient), as in the re-lationship, requiring the crossing of movements which, in order to ac-cess elaborations towards vitality, must be able to tolerate deadly phas-es with the risk of destroying the analytical container. The proposed theoretical-clinical method is based on the integrative and transformative relationship container↔contained and on the links (according to Bion), on the dynamic aspects of the clinical experience, which include reversals of perspective, working with psychotic areas, relying on the negative (according to Green).
